We welcome submission from freedom loving writers. We are primarily interested in articles relating to individual freedom, independence and limited government.

Practical Freedom—These are tools, methods, or useful information for individuals to use to achieve personal freedom and independence, such as, avoiding the government, maintaining privacy, particularly financial privacy, protection of assets, investment, business, offshore, guns, and using the Internet, for example.

Principles of Freedom—The philosophical, as well as common sense, principles of freedom and liberty. We also like articles that inspire and encourage individualism and independence.

Government and Politics—The Autonomist does not believe in government solutions to any problem. Government is the cause of most problems. We are interested in articles about any oppressive government policies and practices, including taxes, foreign aid, business regulation, education, property "rights," or any other intrusive government interference in the affairs of individuals or businesses.

Biography and Stories—By stories we mean stories of individuals or companies that succeed, real heroines and heroes, and examples of those who are enjoying their free lives. We are particular interested in autodidacts and polymaths.

Society, Culture, and Arts—Western Civilization is the result of the highest moral achievement of men in all areas from science to the arts. "Civilization is the process of setting men free from men," Ayn Rand said. The highest degree of individual freedom every achieved is both the result of and cause of all that is virtuous and worth living for. That achievement is called Western Civilization, and its most profound example is the United States of America. That civilization is threatened on every side, from academia to politics to religion. We are interested in anything that exposes the corruption of values and principles destroying that civilization.

Satire & Humor—Think H.L. Mencken, Mark Twain, George Bernard Shaw, Jonathan Swift, Voltaire.

Philosophy—We are very particular and highly critical of any material in this area, because we think it is so important. Give it a try.

Fiction—We are very particular and highly critical of any material in this area. We love good fiction, but it better be good and it better be unique. We are not interested in the preachy or the pathetic.

Editorial Policy—None, to speak of. We will not publish poor writing, confused thinking, or anything I,I,I (insipid, innocuous, or inane). We despise the multicultural, politically correct, or inclusivist. We love articles that offend the sensibilities of the thin-skinned, but will reject anything written only to be offensive, and reject for its stupidity any attempt to express skyscraper ideas in gutter language.

Pay—You and the whole world get to see your valuable work published in the pages of The Autonomist. You also get free advertising for your work, any pages on the Internet you link to, and promotion for any products you mention (such as books or software).
