OINO Death Wish

by Reginald Firehammer

The Democrats now control the House. Though the claim seems excessive to me, we have been assured we've been saved from a fate worse then death, because all fifteen Peikovian Objectivists have saved our country from becoming a Christian theocracy by voting a straight Democratic ticket. That there might be something worse, and that they have helped make it a reality does not occur to these arrogant academic twits.

No, these OINOs (Objectivists in name only) continue to marginalize themselves with their paranoid fear of benign religions while ignoring the only real religious threat rapidly bringing down Western Civilization. They must be delighted we now have our first Muslim congressman, supported by the Saudi financedCAIR, involved in "radical, Wahhabi proselytizing and recruitment."

What Are They Afraid Of?

The "founder" of the philosophy they claim as their own clearly stated, "I am an intransigent atheist, though not a militant one. This means that I am not fighting against religion—I am fighting for reason." [Feb. 4, 1963 letter to US Congressman Bruce Alger] These so-called Objectivists are militant atheists, they are not fighting for reason, they are fighting religion itself.

It is not reason these self-styled Objectivists promote, they're objective is secularism, the eradication of religion from every sphere of life for everybody. Their irrational hatred for religion is obvious in their every hysterical argument, and absurd and baseless assertions.

While the government has no business redistributing taxpayer money to any religious institution, and every freedom loving individual opposes the badly mistaken idea called, the "faith based initiative," to call it, "state-sponsored religion under Bush," is ludicrous. Certainly government should be out of the education business, but their fear is that Bush wants a "substitution of Christianity for cultural relativism in the schools." Since "cultural relativism" is just another term for "multiculturalism," the doctrine that there are no absolute values or principles, they would prefer a society of people with no values, no principles, no reverence for anything, than a society of men with values like Jefferson, and Madison, the architects of separation of church and state, because they happened to be religious.

Government censorship of any kind is wrong, but according to these anti-value anti-principle religion haters, the reason censorship is bad is because its done, "in the name of decency and family values," which we suppose they must be against. In their irrational fear, wedded to ignorance, they hysterically warn of an impending, "religionists ... all out attack on the remnants of our rational, secular Enlightenment heritage."

What Secular Enlightenment?

Now what would that, "secular Enlightenment heritage," be? The only enlightenment history tells of was primarily the work of religious men. The whole thing would most likely never have happened at all if it were not for Gutenberg's press. He happened to be a Catholic.

The entire development of modern science was primarily the work of religious men: Nicolaus Copernicus, 1473-1543 Catholic (priest), Gallileo Galilei, 1564-1642 Catholic, Johannes Kepler 1571-1630 Lutheran, William Harvey 1578-1657 Anglican (nominal), Rene Descartes 1596-1650 Catholic, Blaise Pascal 1623-1662 Jansenist, Robert Boyle 1627-1691 Anglican, Isaac Newton 1642-1727 Anglican (non-Trinitarian), Daniel Bernoulli 1700-1782 Calvinist, Antoine Laurent Lavoisier 1743-1794 Catholic, John Dalton 1766-1844 Quaker, Michael Faraday 1791-1867 Sandemanian, Louis Pasteur 1822-1895 Catholic, James Clerk Maxwell 1831-1879 Presbyterian (Anglican; Baptist), George Washington Carver 1864-1943 Christianity. If the only science we had was that developed by the, "secularists," we'd have precious little science.

What about philosophy? "Two of the most important and positively influential philosophers, Thomas Aquinas (13th century, Catholic) who reintroduced Aristotle to philosophy and John Locke (17th century Anglican) whose philosophy was largely the basis for the American revolution and Constitution."

That part of the enlightenment which was the founding of the most free and prosperous nation in the history of the world, the United States of America, was carried out entirely by religious men. Virtually every signer of the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, and Constitution of the United States of America, as well as all other delegates were a Christians. (The three Deists also referred to themselves as Christians.)

It doesn't appear there is much secular Enlightenment heritage," we need to worry about being attacked. It's difficult to attack what does not exist. We must assume these kinds of accusations are made from extreme ignorance, the only other possibility is too evil to mention.

What The OINOs Want For Us

The anti-religionists, like the Peikovian Objectivists, equate "secularism" with "rationality" but there is a terrible mistake in this. People require values to know what they are living for and principles that enable them to make the choices by which they achieve those values to live happily and successfully in this world. It is a rationally objective philosophy that ought to provide those values and principles.

Sadly, the only sound rational objective philosophy is all but unknown by most, and those who know of it, have abandoned its core principles and, in their attempt to make it a political/social movement, have undercut the basis of all values. They preach loudly, "God is Dead," and the result is exactly what Dostoevsky said it would be, a world that believes, "Everything is permitted," because nothing matters, and "when nothing is sacred, when nothing is revered, when there is no absolute truth, there is nothing to live for beyond the moment, nothing to inspire one to do or be more than they can get away with, nothing to believe in beyond what one sees and feels," at the moment. You want to see the result of that kind of secularism, have a look at Europe. God is dead there, and it is about to be enveloped by a theocracy so evil it makes the most repressive of any past Christian theocracy seem innocuous.

These secularists think they are only taking away God, but what they are taking away is the soul of civilization itself. It's why Europe is "Dying to submit." I certainly do not agree with Melanie Phillips that the solution is "re-Christianization," of any country, but if the concepts of independence, individualism, moral-courage, a belief in absolute principles and a reverence for life and truth are stolen from people by secularization, there won't be anything worth saving.

Europe is dying and being taken over demographically and politically by the most radical political/religious movement in history, and they have no moral character with which to resist it, and the Pekovians want those same blessings for us.

The Blessings Of Islam

When a society has no values beyond enjoying the pleasures and entertainments of the moment, nor principles beyond the belief living consists of enjoying all of life's pleasures, without risk or discomfort and that someone (the government) is obliged to provide those, "rights," and that society is confronted by a threat, however evil, which claims values and principles, however wrong, that society has no defence but appeasement, surrender, and eventual destruction. That society is secular Europe.

The result is a society in which it young women are repeatedly and viciously gang-raped as in Sweden and Norway, where pointless crime is carried out with impunity and no "authority" has any idea what to do about it, and the people do not become so outraged that they do anything about it either, but cower, and apologize, and wait to be destroyed.

To End Civilization

In my article, "The End of Western Civilization", I pointed out the three "signs" that indicate the approaching end of civilized society in the West. All of those signs are not only apparent in Europe, but so obvious that any honest and clearsighted observer knows that Europe is gone. The only remaining hope for civilazation is America. If the Pekovian anti-religionists could have their way, America would be gone too, and it would truly be the end of Western Civilization.

In their own words: "I am acutely aware of the concrete evils of voting for the Democrats: high taxes, environmentalism, welfare programs, socialized medicine, and gun control. Nonetheless, I will vote for Democrats as long as necessary, even for Hillary Clinton in 2008."

Necessary for what? The death of the US? The three signs by which the death of any civilization can be detected are, 1. the general loss of principles and values in a society, 2. the growth of government, particularly the welfare state, and 3. the demographic deteriotion of a society's population.

In my first two articles, An Atheist's Defence of Christianity, and OINO's Paranoid Fear of Christians, I discussed how the move to secularize our society is really an attempt to eliminate all values and principles without which a society is left with nothing but nihilism (expessed as multiculturalism or cultural relativism), in philosophy and hedonism, in ethics.

To a very great extent, America has gone down the road to nihilism and hedonism on its own under the influence of academia and the whole post-modernist movement in all aspects of society. About the only segment of the society that has not bought into post-modernism is the religious community and it is that community at which the OINOs are directing their attack.

The OINOs, despite their arrogant intellectual posturing, are extemely ignorant of the realities of life and politics. While practically accusing Bush of being the American Pope, they have totally swallowed his political rhetoric. While blowing kisses (and tax dollars) at the (Christian) religious community Bush is simultaneously hugging the Muzzie Mullahs and proclaiming Islam the, "religion of peace." No one believes him except the OINOs. Everyone else knows it's "just politics."

All of politics is dirty, but there is something dirtier, the outright promotion of evil. Why do you think the Muslims in this country are not gang-raping American girls, and robbing people with impunity on the "T" in Boston or the New York Subway, as they are in every European country and Australia? Are the Muslims here truly "moderate?" Hardly! The Imams and Mullahs are promoting the very same anti-civilization Jihad in American Mosques as in Europe.

The difference is, virtually all Europeans and Australians have been disarmed and the Islamists know it. Americans still have the fundamental freedom to keep and bear arms. More importantly, they maintain that sense of value that would not for a moment tolerate the violation of their women by the monsters savaging the dignity and privacy of women with impunity in Europe. The Muzzies know the moment they attack and rape an American girl of 13 or 14 in this country they are dead, but they will also know when that American resolve is gone, and when they know it, there will not be an American girl or woman that is safe. The OINOs are perfectly willing to vote for gun control and to work for the loss of values that will bring the same kind of blessings to American girls now being enjoyed in secular Europe and Australia.

We have not lost all our values yet, and still have the character and means to defend them. Though fast approaching it, we are not yet a total, cradle-to-grave welfare state as virtually all European states are; but, the OINOs are willing to vote that in if they can. At the present time, America and Australia are the only countries in Western civilization with sustainable birth rates. While the rest of the West is literally dying, the US is booming with births, and a major reason for it is religion. The OINOs would like to take that away from us too, if they could.

No Real Threat

This is not a warning about any kind of threat or danger. Certainly, there is no danger this country will become a Christian Theocracy in the near future. There is a phenomenon most have not noticed, that whenever some religious leaders begin to, or appear to, be having some real influence in politics, they self-destruct. It's because politics and religion are by nature contradictory, even antagonistic, and no such contradiction can ever stand, with one exception. In a way, the Pekovian ONIOs are self-destructing in the same manner, because philosophies and movements are different things. When a philosophy is promoted as a movement it ceases to be a philosophy and becomes an ideology, and no matter how sound the philosophy is, as an ideology it is dangerous, a new kind of religion demanding obedience and adherence as strictly as any mystic faith. That's what the Pekovians have done to Objectivism.

The only exception to politics and religion mixing is if the religion itself is political in nature. There is only one such religion in the world, Islam, and at the moment it is the only viable threat to Western Civilization—imminent in Europe, pending in the USA. But that threat will not remain pending if the one thing standing between us and it is lost—it is not the American Military. Europe is about to fall to the Islamic invasion. Except for turning themselves into bombs, from time to time, and blowing themselves up, here and there, the Muzzies have not lifted a military finger.

If the threat of Islam to America turns from pending to imminent, it will not be by means of some military threat, it will be because America has succumbed to the same rot causing Europe to crumble before the barbarians invading them. There will be no military confrontation, they will simply walk in and take over.

It is not the military but the American character that is the only thing standing between us and the fate of Europe. It is that character that built America, the character which Ayn Rand described as independent individualism, embodied in men of principle, values, and initiative, and, most of all, men who think for themselves. It is the character of men with the courage to live by their principles without compromise and a sense of dignity and decency appropriate to the kind of being man is. It is the kind of men who made the American Revolution necessary and possible, the kind of men who must live free or not live at all. It is the kind of men that want nothing more than they can earn, and who willingly take responsibility for every aspect of their own lives, because they know that is what freedom is—the kind of men that know reality and truth are absolute and that there is something sacred, something eternal and ideal to be revered that make life worth living.

Though the specific beliefs of Americans have always varied widely, what is common to all those who contribute to what is truly America culture and society, is that American Character. There is very much less of it today than sixty years ago, and what is left is fast deteriorating. It ought to be coming from philosophy, a rational objective philosophy, and for a very small number it is, but most of that American Character today, where it exists, is inspired for those who have it by their religions. If that is taken away, if America is secularized the way Europe is, it will be the end of Western Civilization—all of it.
